The name R Eddie appears on the Bridge Street Presbyterian Church Honour Board. This could be Robert Eddie (663) of 12 McCormack Street, Port Melbourne who listed his religion as Presbyterian however Robert returned to Australia at the conclusion of the war and was discharged on 7 April 1919 whereas there is an asterix next to R Eddie on the honour board which usually denotes that the soldier died during the war.

The name R Eddie also appears in the list of names on the Graham Street Methodist Church Football Club Honour Board.
