    Second World War service :

    Born 15 March, 1900 enlisted RAN 23 June, 1919, served 11538, on discharge, Leading Stoker, HMAS Lonsdale, RAN, locality on enlistment Glenelg, South Australia, but father shown in Ivanhoe. Discharged 7 February, 1945, died 16 September, 1974
