Mother: Mrs Sarah GEORGE, born West Melbourne. A 22-year-old electrical linesman, George enlisted with mother at 36 Stokes Street, later in West Melbourne. He was Mentioned in Despatches, gazetted posthumously in Australia, 6 April, 1916. No circular returned.
