2081  (Parents: Peter and Helen MCGREGOR; wife Mrs Winifred BRETON (formerly MCGREGOR), born Glasgow, Scotland (arrived c. 1906 at 23 years), educated  public school, Scotland.  Enlisted with his wife in Adelaide, but a Death Notice in the Port Melbourne Standard, 28 July, 1917 revealed his parents at 167 Princes Street. The circular was returned by his widow from Adelaide as Mrs BRETON with his mother noted at 23 Bridge Street.  Served for 3 years in the Royal Navy in Scotland, prominent athlete, weight-lifters, boxer and ex-member of Melbourne Fire Brigade)
