    “Private F. T. Sampson, A Company, 7th Battalion (wounded), was born in Port Melbourne, and is 23 years of age. Before enlisting with the First Expeditionary Force he was. in the employ of thc Melbourne and Metropolitan Board of Works. His mother resides at 94 Princes-street, North Carlton”.
