    Born 24 February, 1891, enlisted 29 August, 1940, served V5779, Private, 17 Garrison Battalion, locality on enlistment Bendigo, Attested Royal Park, NOK Nellie WARNECKE. Discharged 4 February, 1941. Re-enlisted, now born 24 February, 1893, 17 June, 1941, served V16239, Private, Australian Army Ordnance Corps, enlistment as above. Discharged 10 June, 1942.
