At 8pm on 14 February 1920 the Graham Street Methodists conducted the Final Welcome Home to their Returned Soldiers in the Graham Street Methodist School Hall.

Under the chairmanship of the Rev J Trathan, the programme opened with the doxology and The Lord’s Prayer followed by a pianoforte duet by Mrs and Miss Monkhouse.  Rev Trathan presented introductory remarks and then the programme continued with a series of songs, addresses and recitations.

Prior to retiring for refreshments the formal part of the evening concluded with Travel Notes and Responses by the Returned Boys, the singing of ‘God Save the King’ and The Benediction.

The printed programme from the evening lists the names on the honour roll on the back. The names of the eleven men who did not return are listed inside with a notice that a Thanksgiving Service would be held the following evening, 15 February, at the Graham Street Church.
