Hildebrand, Matilda
148 Farrell Street 1912 - 1924 Property

Matilda continued to run the general store in her own name after 1912, perhaps because Francis Arthur had died.

Hildebrand, Charles Henry
150 Farrell Street 1898-1902 Property
and possibly 180 Farrell Street 1893 Property

Charles was married to Emily Mary Salter in 1889 and moved into the house next door to his parents (148 Farrell Street Property) nine years later. He may also have lived at 180 Farrell Street Property during 1893.

He and Emily had one son Francis Arthur, named after his grandfather who had been born in Port Melbourne 1891. He married Lily Kurzman on 16 May 1916 and died in Port Melbourne in 1973.

Hildebrand, Frank William

This was the period before his marriage to Ellen May Bennett on 24th January 1904 at Holy Trinity. He is listed in Sands and McDougall as gentleman but at the time of his marriage his occupation is given as mount cutter.

Although they had moved to Preston by the time their daughter Ellen Bennett was born in 1917, she was brought back to Holy Trinity for her baptism 10th October 1918.
