He was born in Stawell in 1914. He married Estella Jean Stewart daughter of William Stewart (see 150 Farrell Street). They had a daughter Rosalie May born in 1939. Victor was an engine driver. He was killed in 1948 when Rosalie was only nine.

Estella, Victor's wife, continued to live at 152 Farrell Street. Their daughter Rosalie married Ron Stranks 27th April 1957. At the time of her marriage she was a ledger machinist.
