This house move seems highly questionable, it seems to really be 14 Derham Street.

David is described as a labourer in the Sands & McDougall each year.

He was born about 1864 and died in Carlton in 1938. David married Emma Isabella Burt who was born about 1856 and died in Prahran 1912.

They had eight children before the death of Emma:

Edward Percival born 1885, died in Port Melbourne 1890

William born Port Melbourne 1886 and died here the following year

Florence Charlotte born 9th October 1887, and died here the same year

Grace Marie born 12 February 1890, baptised at St Joseph's 1911 and married there to James Walsh in 1911. They had one daughter, Margaret Winifred born in 1911.

Joseph Burt born 29th April 1892 baptised Graham Street Methodist 2 July 1892

Andrew Crombie born 1894, baptised at Graham Street September 1897 and died also in 1897

Leslie George born 5th August 1897 in Port Melbourne

Janet Evelyn born 14th November 1899 in Port Melbourne

In 1919 David married Jessie May Ould born in 1888 in South Melbourne; she died in 1954 in Natimuk.

Jessie and David had one daughter:

Beryl born 20th July 1920 in Carlton.
