Biography - Poolman Family

Poolman, Frederick Gordon
190 Ross Street 1925-1929 Property

In 1924 Edward George Alger's daughter, Eliza, and son-in-law, Frederick Gordon Poolman, became the occupiers of 190 Ross Street and apparently Edward moved to Esplanade East.

Frederick and Eliza had one son: Frederick George born 7th June 1923 and baptised at the Bridge Street Presbyterian church.

Frederick the father died in 1942 and Frederick the son died in 1947 when he was only 24. Eliza died in 1976.
