    Born 13 June, 1899 (Surrey, England), enlisted 6 October, 1924, served 2937, Flight Lieutenant, 1 Wireless and Gunnery School, locality on enlistment unknown, Attested Point Cook, NOK J RELF. Discharged 14 September, 1944. Made a Member of the Order of the British Empire for services to R.A.A.F., gazetted Australia 3 June 1943; died 8 September, 1950, still in Danks Street, Albert Park

    I thought that WWII enlistment date was incorrect at first but it appears Henry was a career army officer when war broke out in 1939.
