AGM – 22 Aug 2023 @ 7.30pm

Our 2023 Annual General Meeting will be held on 22 August commencing at 7.30pm.

To give a sense of occasion we invite members to wear some of the red the blue‘.

Our guest speaker will be Phillip Cohen who will speak on the subject of “From Liardet to Winteringham – Frames of Reference“. Phillip worked on the Liardet Memorial project with architect Peter Christoff.

Also, at the AGM, an important compilation of Memoirs of Port Melbourne, brought together by a hardworking team of Margaret Bride, Vicki Radcliffe, Carol Leahy and Jill Dawson will be launched. The memoirs from our collection have been brought together in electronic form. These precious insights into Port life will become more accessible in keeping with the Society’s objectives as agreed in 1993.

The meeting will be conducted in person at the Port Melbourne Town Hall Auditorium, 333 Bay Street, Port Melbourne, as well as being available via Zoom.

Please join us for supper at the conclusion of the meeting.

Please RSVP by Thursday, 17 August, 2023
